ABOUT
Formerly a Presidential lodge and now fully renovated to offer you the best in the hospitality. Set in tranquil gardens near the shores of Lake Victoria, our Bed & Breakfast Guest House and Hotel apartments features 20 rooms and 4 one bedroom apartments at Surjio’s tastefully decorated bedrooms. Friendly comfortable lodging & accommodation conveniently located within walking distance of the historic “Source of the Nile” and Jinja’s Main street. Over- looking the former Rippon Falls Hotel, where the Queen of England stayed in its heyday.
Our famous restaurant serves mouth watering pizzas made with fresh herbs from our garden and is perfectly baked in a wood fired, clay oven.
At 3986 feet above sea level, Jinja enjoys a pleasant climate all year long and is only 75km from the capital (Kampala) and 115km from Entebbe airport.
In it’s hay day, Jinja was the manufacturing capitol of East Africa. Today, Jinja is a very well-designed town best described as “laid-back”, “peaceful” and “tranquil” by its many international visitors. Jinja is quite simply the perfect getaway town.
